Title: rebirth//revenge
Unable to take it anymore, tears began to well in her bright blue eyes.
Her whole frame shook in the moonlight and her back facing him seemed to shrink.
He took this chance to reinforce his "attack".
"it's over."
As soon as the words left his mouth, she turned and flung herself at him. Grabbing onto the front of his shirt, she cried out:
"Don't leave me! I care about you! God told me, She may understand, but she doesn't care. Please, Don't do it!"
Her tears flowed like two salty rivers down her red cheeks.
She gripped the fabric tighter.
His face held a seblance of pity yet his harsh mask stood.
"You aren't yourself. Calm down first..."
He began but was cut off when she sharply pushed away and slapped him.
"I BLOODY am calm!"
He straightened up and looked at her.
She cringed away at his glare but he ignored that and continued.
He took a step forward and laughed a bitter laugh.
He bent down slightly until he was eye level with her and said with a kind smile,
"Oh? First of all, you cannot back up your claim.
Second, it seems that your logic is based around what you actually know. Which is little. If God wanted you to stop me, he would have told you things I never told you. But all you've been saying is based on what I told you.
Third, your point was never clear. Don't do WHAT?
And finally. God does not discourage love. He encourages it. Even if it may go bad, God will support us. He won't ever ask one to stop loving because it's not possible. THis is God. He isn't forceful.
And He always gives peace when you're doing the right thing. Right now, you're frustrated. Bad sign. Think about it..."
Fury flared up in her eyes like a spark but she kept it in half-check.
"Me? Frustrated? You obviously don't know me." She replied with a smirk.
She glared rebelliously back at him.
He blinked once. twice. then sighed as he straightened back up.
He looked back gently like a parent with an unruly child.
"Is this the best you can do?"
an unsaid question visible in his eyes.
In that second, she lost it.
She could see that this battle was lost and she screamed at him,
"Fine! Be that way! I don't care what happens to the two of you anymore.!"
She picked up a few stones and stated hurling them at him while screaming incoherently.
"What. Ever. Happens. Is. No. Longer. My. Business!"
she screamed between throws.
Finally she stopped.
she was panting away, weak from her fit.
He dusted his coat with his hand, flicking off pieces of debris.
He turned away from her and said in an unusually harsh voice,
"yup. And I knew it when I said you hadn't let go yet. So I'm just not gonna talk to you until you do.
This is goodbye. Ciao.
Look for me when you're done if you want. You're right. God knows. you don't. So don't claim to speak on his behalf when all you want is for me to stay away from her. Because god won't abandon her, nor will he expect me to.
God bless. May peace live in your heart. And the stars shine brightly for you."
And he walked away from the girl, silently collapsed into a heap on the cold, stony earth.
Miles away, he heard an eruption of sobs mixed with another strange unearthly sound.
Laughter?
This is not the end.
THE END.
