Background:
Kaoru is a carefree girl. Being the youngest daughter in a 12 children family, she spends most of her days doing nothing but fiddle around with machinary. One day, a girl stumbles upon Kaoru when she was in the midst of creating a new weapon. The girl recognised Kaoru's talent and gave her professional training. Later, Kaoru revealed to the girl that she has hidden powers that her family doesn't know about. The two become best friends and the girl asks Kaoru to join her clan. Kaoru accepts, thinking her family wouldn't care anyway. However, it turns out that their families are enemies. Making the choice herself, Kaoru severed all ties with her family who, when they found out about her gifts, only wanted to make use of her as a living tool and joined the girl's clan against their wishes. Since, Kaoru has been living in her own paradise, amongst the things she loves best. Kaoru's family still tries to recon with her, but to no avail. Kaoru's stubborn personality keeps her where she is: her paradise.
